DHS Administration Establishes Teacher Salad Bar
At the end of spring break, a salad bar was established for teachers in the cafeteria. Teachers who wish to benefit from the service are required to fill out a form for cafeteria staff in the morning, and can then pick up their salad at the end of the in-person school day.
“I love that they have it all set for you. When you go down to collect it, they have it all together,” said Shannon Kelly, a teacher who has taken advantage of the new system.
The service is especially valuable for its placement in the middle of the school day, as some teachers may be otherwise unable to make an elaborate lunch as a result of finalizing lesson plans, driving home, or hosting club meetings.
