Boys soccer team advances to the second round

The Decatur boys soccer team won their first round playoff game against Arabia Mountain 6-0 on Apr. 25.

The Bulldogs sped out to a 4-0 lead at halftime behind a header from senior Chris Choi. Sophomore goalie Trevor McMullen stepped in for senior Nate Wakeman at halftime and kept the clean sheet the rest of the way.

Senior center back Wais Wood led the team with 6 shots, while classmate Josh Sumo assisted both second half goals.

They play Clarke Central HS at home on May 2.
