The Decatur baseball team defeated the Lithonia Bulldogs on Friday, April 27.
Sophomore pitcher Jackson Hills recorded a 10-0 win in the first game, and senior Oliver Livingston pitched the Bulldogs to a 5-1 victory in Game 2. Freshman Marshall Toole scored 2 runs in the second leg, courtesy running for catcher Luke Clark.
Baseball’s playoff rounds consist of best-of-3 series, and this first round matchup went as expected for the Bulldogs. Decatur begins the second round on Thursday, as they take on a tough Buford team at McKoy Park.
