This Sept. student band Scofflaw played at the 10th and final year of Skateraid. Juniors Aidan Sisler (singer), Gibson Ruby (bass), Luke Kreiner (guitar) and sophomore Cole Holden (drums) played all original songs.

Skateraid was the band’s first real gig and Ruby feels good about their performance.

“Our band went from just jamming together to playing at Skateraid. It’s pretty cool and I’m glad we got a chance to play at Skateraid before it ended.”

Unfortunately, it was Holden’s last time playing with Scofflaw. Junior Chris Bass is taking his place behind the drum set.

“That was Cole’s last show with us so we played for him. We were sad to see him go but we’re ecstatic to welcome Chris to Scofflaw,” said Sisler.

Overall, Scofflaw pronounces their show at Skateraid as a success.

“[Skateraid] was a great experience and there’s no doubt we’d play again if they decided to bring it back,” added Sisler.
