Can Georgia win the SEC?

No (Sam Levy)
Two words – Bama and LSU. These two teams are currently ranked one and two in the AP poll, and after watching them play, it seems as if they will stay at the top. Georgia is good this year – very good. The Bulldogs’ quarterback, Aaron Murray, has matured nicely and is helping UGA establish a dominant passing game. But the SEC is too strong for Georgia to finish on top. Georgia will reach a bowl game, and will probably win, but topping the SEC is out of their reach.

Yes (Wilson Witherspoon)
The Bulldogs are ranked fifth in the nation by the Week 5 AP Poll, and have outscored tough conference opposition 140-67 over their first three conference games. On top of that, All-American safety Bacarri Rambo and star linebacker Alec Ogletree return from suspension in the upcoming weeks, improving an already stellar defense. Finally, the Dawgs have a pretty easy road to the SEC title game through the East division, facing ranked opponents only in South Carolina and Florida. The Bulldogs beat both teams last year, so their future looks very bright.
