Dressing Up in Blue and Gold

Is the infamous dress blue and black, or white and gold?

It has filled our social media notifications up for too long now. A simple picture that has caused us agony because we cannot agree upon the colors. Some of us have even been driven to the point where we are questioning whether or not our eyes are in tact.

 

That’s right.

 

It’s the infamous #TheDress.

#TheDress is originally a royal blue and black dress, but many people, while looking at the photo, see white and gold instead. A poorly- lit picture of the $77 dress, spiraled throughout the internet within days of the original picture being posted. According to cnbc.com, the original post had about 670,000 simultaneous views per minute.
