Gardening for success

The garden club undertakes new challenges as it begins restoring the Decatur garden to its former glory. Well, the glory of last summer. It’s sort of overgrown since then and needs a little care. Still, it’s far better off than it was when Decatur first received the land. “I remember when it was just tires and kudzu,” Angela Wade, a garden club head said.

Anyway, onward and upward, or whatever you’d say in this case. With guidance from garden club head and Trees Atlanta representative, Lauren Sandoval the Decatur garden is sure to take off in no time. Hear what Zoey Laird — “our garden champion,” as Sandoval referred to her — about the club’s plans to team up with Partnerships for Success.
