Chelsea McFarland and Julianna Eidle, both 10th graders at DHS, have been selected to be a part of the Georgia All-State band. McFarland will be the first chair horn player and Eidle will be the fifth chair flute player. The three-day trip ro Savannah to play with the all-state ensembles will cost each student about $400. If you would like to contribute, please contact Decatur High School’s band director, Megan williams, at [email protected].
